Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig, September 21 in 1983. Maggie Grace is an American actor best known for her character Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. Born in Worthington Ohio she left high school in order to relocate in Los Angeles with her mother after her parents divorce. She was struggling to make ends meet and was offered her first role in acting in the film Rachel's Room's lead character. The role she played as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder, in the television movie Murder in Greenwich in 2002, earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford played Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons in 2004 and was awarded a Screen Actors Guild Award (with the rest of the cast) alongside her. Grace was dropped from the series in 2005 to pursue an even more prominent role in film, appearing in the film Taken alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in Taken. She starred in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in 2007 as well as Taken (2008) opposite Liam Neeson. She reprised her role for Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a modern version from Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace was Shannon again in Lost's finale and in two additional episodes. In 2013, she appeared in Season 6 of Californication. She portrays Faith as a female groupie as well as a model for stars.
