Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician from Mexico was born to a music-loving family. When she was a kid, she listened to many classical music and traditional boleros. In addition, she was a fan of traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana has a passion for tangos, opera, and every form of dramatic performances. Following her singing lessons with mom and sister, she began more intense training in singing at 16 under the tutelage of the renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. The School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. She performed in Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young student and professional. When she moved from Mexico to the United States around 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo in traditional Latin American music at private occasions. Alongside being an active performer as well as an instructor and instructor, her passion for arts and music keeps her involved in a range of different projects. Ana is also a past participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana feels privileged to be able to bring to others her passion for traditional Latin American music. She hopes to help younger generations continue the tradition.
